Blockley is a beautiful picture postcard village in Gloucestershire, England, in the north Cotswolds. Until 1931 it was in Worcestershire.
After having a bustling high street that included 20 shops and 8 pubs in the early 1900s, the Post Office shut in 2007. In May 2008, under a co-operative agreement, the village residents opened a new local not for profit store that provides groceries, news agent, post office, off-licence and cafe with free broadband. An advert was shot for the shop by village resident, Chris Jury.
